How to choose dental clinic software in the Philippines
There is no single best dental software for every Philippine clinic. The right system depends on how many dentists share a calendar, whether associates are paid on commission, how much HMO work you take, and whether you will open a second branch. This is the list of questions we would ask if we were buying — including the ones we do not come out of well.
Nine questions worth asking any vendor
- Can you export all your data, on every plan, without asking permission?
- Is the price in pesos, and is VAT added on top of what is published?
- What happens to your records if you stop paying — deleted, locked, or kept?
- Does it handle commission-based associate dentists, or only salaried staff?
- Can patients book without someone answering a message?
- Does it work on a phone, or only on the desktop in the clinic?
- Is there a lock-in period, or can you leave at the end of a month?
- Who is the contracting party, and is that entity actually named anywhere?
- What does it not do? — and will they tell you before you subscribe, or after?
Software against paper and spreadsheets
Paper records what happened. It cannot enforce one record per patient, send a reminder nobody remembered to send, or connect a completed treatment to a balance and a commission. That is the whole difference, and it is worth a subscription only if the clinic actually uses it — which is why the question that matters most is not which system has the longest feature list, but which one your front desk will still be using in March.
What the price should include
Published prices in the Philippine market vary widely, and a low headline can hide setup fees, per-user charges, or a plan that omits the one module you needed. Compare the total for your clinic: the plan, the number of dentists and staff, the branches, and any SMS you will actually send. DentaCloudPH starts at ₱417 a month on annual billing, includes every clinical module on every plan, adds no setup fee, and adds no VAT because AscenderTek Solutions is non-VAT registered.
Where DentaCloudPH fits
Best for a Philippine clinic that charts, schedules, bills and pays commission-based associates, on one branch or several, and wants the numbers to be honest at cut-off. It is built around peso billing, Filipino front-desk workflows and a phone rather than a desktop.
Where it does not
If you need telemedicine, online payment collection, HMO claims management, payroll, imaging with DICOM or 3D scans, reputation and review automation, or a patient portal today, DentaCloudPH is not your system yet. Those are real gaps and we would rather you read them here than discover them on the second week. If they are on your must-have list, buy something else — and use the nine questions above on them too.

Frequently asked questions
Which dental software is best in the Philippines?
There is no single best one. The right choice depends on clinic size, how associates are paid, HMO volume and whether you plan to open a second branch. Compare a shortlist against a fixed set of questions rather than against feature counts, and make sure one of those questions is what each system does not do.
How much should dental clinic software cost?
Compare the total for your own clinic rather than the headline: the plan, the dentists and staff, the branches, and the SMS you will really send. DentaCloudPH starts at ₱417 a month on annual billing, with no setup fee and no VAT added on top.
What should we insist on before subscribing?
Data export on every plan, a clear answer on what happens to your records if you stop paying, a named legal entity you are contracting with, and an honest list of what the system does not do. If a vendor will not answer the last one, that is the answer.
